About Bailey Apparel

Ness

Owner / Founder

After 16 years in business, founder Ness Bailey’s scrappy powerhouse of an apparel company has come a long way.

Ness took a leap of faith in 2006 by renting a small office in the heart of the garment center. Location was key if you wanted to have buyers come to see you, but that meant taking a risk that he could not afford to lose.

The first few years in business were an uphill battle. Early mornings, late nights and endless travel to source new factories, oversee production, open new accounts and cater to the existing ones. Ness remembers hand delivering his first order, unloading trailers, packing orders, anything he could do to save money and re-invest it in the business.

Fast forward to 2020, the pandemic presented challenges that were unimaginable. 2020 was projected to be the best year on record, until all orders were canceled. Ness took stock of what remained of his company and what he found was his team ready and willing to rebuild. By April 2020 printed masks became the focus and when 2020 ended it was indeed our best year ever.

After nearly $500 million in retail sales over the course of 16 years, Ness believes more now than ever that this is only the beginning.

Ness has spent the last few months speaking with some of the biggest names in crypto, NFT’s and metaverse and has mobilized a portion of his staff to focus on and start building into the future.

Ness likes to quote something his grandmother used to say...”if you don’t want you won’t have”. He wants to constantly move forward, collaborate and build, that’s the focus for the future.
